The following interview with Dr. Pat Smith is held in the Catholic Relief Services (CRS) Archives. It was conducted by Jenne H. Alhed, Ph.D. in April of 1993 as a part of her research on women who served in the Vietnam War

Please note the following corrections that should be made in the ensuing interview with Dr. Pat Smith:

The word "Chloroform" should read "Chloroquine," as in "Chloroquine-resistant Malaria."
Malaya-Polonesian" should read "Malayo-Polynesian" and "Mungcomard" should read "Mon-Khmer" [page 6]
